I'm sorry that your father is a terrible person. No one should treat someone like that. Mostly if it's someone that is in your family. I'm crying a little after reading it. Stay strong and be a better person than your father.

" For pretending to cry and for pretending to want to commit suicide. You would never do that.

    You love yourself too much"

Okay, so your father is a jackass we get it and he deserves nothing, but the part about suicide gets me a little stumped... you basically are saying that people should committed suicide if they don't love themselves.

Thats not what she was saying at all. She was saying her dad had threatened to kill himself, mostly likely blaming everyone but him that it was her fault, her brothers fault, her mothers fault if he did kill himself. But it was just a minipulation tactic. A scary one. And mentally hard, because I'm sure a part of her desperately wanted him to go through with it. And that's not an easy thing to feel about someone.

Saying a person loves themself too much to kill themself. And someone not loving themselves should kill themselves are in no way the same thing. If a person doesn't love themself it suggests that that person MIGHT be CAPABLE of killing themselves. "Should" is not implied anywhere.

I'm sorry you had to endure all this. My father was kind of ignorant and abusive, too. I even did a Mytake on it. I hope the hate doesn't poison the rest of your life, and that you can find some peace within yourself.

I realize now that it was worded incorrectly, but what I meant was that he was pressrun me to have faith in something that I personally didn't believe. And thank you :)

I have faced almost all of what you have faced. Are you a bitter person in the end? I would say I am very bitter, but I am childish, so it does not show up on my face or much in my actions for the most part.

I can only relate to number 4. My dad feeds my insecurities and then he acts nice all of the sudden. It's like a never ending cycle. I just can't trust him. This take is very brave of you. I'm proud of you for sharing this with us.

Could you call child services tell them about the money your dad took from you as well presumably they could tell you where working and your rate give you some where else to stay and maybe you could clam the money back as well.

How about the overwhelming majority of good Dads and husbands, many of whom have had their lives evicerated by vindictive, Feminist and gold digging women who have brainwashed their kids into hating virtuous men? Who speaks for them?

You're really so bitter that you practically attack an abused girl for telling about her abuser? That's as disgusting as it is pathetic.

@ShaeNielson. i watched my good dad evicerated by a vindictive, vicious woman. Nothing pathetic about it. I'm sympathetic but who speaks for my dad?

I am glad that you came out the other side of your father a stronger and better person. You sure have earned it. I hope eventually that you find a person you can trust that makes you happy.

If he is such a devout Catholic it is strange that he paid no attention to 1 Timothy 5:8.
