Adopting makes more sense if one questions if it's right to impose an existence upon somebody or someone new only for them to have to suffer and die eventually just like the rest of us here currently can and will, at least eventually. Because the difference is that one is taking care of someone that IS ALREADY IN EXISTENCE, thus there's no lack of consent or unfairness there. They are already added into and part of this world now, it's possible to have consent, unlike when creating someone new and then they become unhappy with the unfairness, and recognize that they had never asked to come here nor wished to be here in this world in the first place.
