My dad thinks I'm a failure I don't know what to do he keeps reminding me that if i dont so well at school he'll chuck me out?

I want to run away from home and never look back, but I'm a teenager and don't have any money to do so

should I run away?

should i stay and sort it out?

Running away isn't going to solve anything. Prove to your parents that you are not a failure. if you are failing some classes see if you can stay after school and work on bringing your grades up. If your dad has the mentality that nothing is ever good enough for him then you have to sit him down and have a conversation with him about how hard you are trying, school is important to you and that you want him to be proud of you. Either way you need to tell him that him putting you down hurts your feelings and upsets you. If you can't talk to your dad talk to your guidance counselor and ask for some recommendations on how to get through to your dad.

Running away without a education is not a smart move. you can end up in three places and none of those places are good places. you will either end up in jail, on the streets or in a shelter. I have never been to jail, but I do know its not a place you want to end up in. I was in a shelter for three weeks and I can tell you don't want to end up their. I had no choice to go their because my now ex boyfriend was beating the crap out of me and I was their until they arrested him and sent him to jail for six months. You don't want to end up on the streets because its dirty and not safe. Get a education and do it for your self. If you end up in a shelter the food is horrible, you have no television, game boy/xbox and no freedom to make phone calls when ever you want and chances are you will have a roommate you don't like.

Uh you could just do well in school. School isn't that hard, they keep lowing the standards. So you don't want to do well in school and you think running away is the best option. Well have fun with that.

Uneducated and homeless have you never heard of stories of other girls that have run away.

And why do you think the police should get involved because you dad wants you to do well in school. Sounds like good parenting and you are a brat.

Uh, go to school. Simple. Just do it. Running away does nothing, but make you poor and alone and then you're really a failure. Like really dude? You really just asked that? Why would you call the police? So they can come and embarrass you by telling you, that yes, you have to go to school? You're dad may think you're a failure, but you only prove him right when you do dumb things...like run away. Think.

The Unwanted is correct, why is your father calling you a failure? Maybe he has a point and you'd better shape up.

If your father is just being a complete asshole then I suggest you signing up for the military the second you graduate from school.

Also, school isn't everything. I suggest you learn as many trades as you can while you're still young. That will come in handy for employment and also do-it-yourself projects will save you money. Only the ignorant put all of their eggs in one basket, the basket being education.

Why does your dad think you're a failure? If it is because you are actually failing then he doesn't "think" you're a failure, you are showing a true lack of promise. As for running away if you're failing basic school I wouldn't recommend it. Your odds of comfortable survival are very low.
