I need a good excuse for leaving the hotel room tomorrow night?

I'm going to be with some family members at a hotel tomorrow night but its Saturday and will be really boring so I have a plan to leave for a while and go downtown to this sports bar I like and been to a few times before in that city , it be a lot more fun than sitting in hotel room all night. I just don't want them wondering what I'm doing or think I'm like up to no good when I'm gone for a while.

any thoughs? should I just tell them where I'm going or like come up with some excuse? is there anywhere else that might sound realistic to go to that time of night?

It's always better to say the truth about where you're going if not then maybe you knwo someone there and are going to see them and I don't know have a few drinks to catch up?

Since you're in your 30's I don't exactly see why you'd need an excuse to leave. Just tell them you're going out and go. I doubt it'd be that hard.
