How to convince my mom to let me have a YouTube channel?

Hi everyone,
I really need your opinion on my situation, so here it is:
Im a teenager and I really, REALLY want to start my very own YouTube channel, but my parents say that I shouldn't.
Their reasons are:
- I'm not old enough (I'm very mature for my age+my friends are making their YouTube channels and they are fine)
- I have nothing to show to the world (Not true. I want to create a channel so that I can express myself, make friends, help people and lastly, teach people something! I'm currently learning how to make DIY's and I can teach others how to make them through YouTube)
- I'm just trying to fit in (No, just no, all I want to do is express myself through YouTube and have a new hobby)
- I need expensive software (I already have a camera, plus I can edit on my iPad!)
- My older brother tried to have a YouTube channel, it didn't work and they don't want me to get hurt (Again, I'm not doing it for money or attention, I'm doing this to show the world my true self and make friends! And even I don't make a successful channel, I'll be able to handle that)
I tried to convince them so many times, but it just doesn't work!!

It seems that older generations don't know what the heck YouTube is, they might think that it's a monster or something like that lol, I really don't see the reason why they aren't allowing you to do that, try to explain to them that it's not a big deal and it's just a little thing you want to enjoy, and if that channel won't succeed then it's the end of the word, hell, I mean it's just a fucking YouTube channel, it's not like you are joining the military or something haha.

The great thing about technology is that computers or at least the internet wasn't really around at the time when your parents growing up say assuming your parents are even in their 30's. So you could probably create a channel without them even knowing.

Honestly just make a fake email and make a youtube channel with out telling them. I doubt your parents are on youtube looking to see if you are on it. They will not find out about it. I have learned that in life if someone is holding you back from something don't allow that. Just go ahead and do. My parents are really strict so i feel you, but a youtube channel is not going to affect you.

Have you told them these answers to what they say in a calm and mature way? Don't argue, don't scream, don't sulk, don't say it isn't fair, don't slam your door, just show them you're mature and talk through it with them calmly.

Yep, I talked to them very calmly, but they still won't let me start making YouTube videos.

Make a few videos maybe. Just for your immediate friends. Tell them it's important to give you VERY honest feedback. Show your parents the video and feedback from your friends. Maybe even make two or three videos to show them. Maybe even show them some of the videos your friends do.
Tell them it's just something you enjoy and genuinely aren't doing for money or popularity, it's just something your friends have enjoyed, it looks like fun and you'd like to see what it's like because they all really enjoy it.

hmm I dont know. Maybe take a sample video of what you would upload on Youtube and share it with your parents. Convince them. I guess if they won't let you after you show them the vid, then just do it anyways.

You could make a couple videos and show them to you parents to prove to them that there's nothing to be worried about.

Tell them that there are 2 things that make a man successful, her parents guidance and her ingenuity and initiative. You want to use your initiative and ingenuity. You would be happy if they participated with you. See if that works.

try showing them channels that are similar to what you want to create. keep in mind they are just trying to protect you don't be too hard on them!
