If your child or loved one has/had a youtuber channel would you tell them to. quit it?

For context I saw a question on a fourm from a "parent" asking should they tell. them to quit because they disagree its not a visible career Path.

I mean not everyone with a YouTube channel necessarily wants to create a career from it.
If someone it used it as their main source of income, then I wouldn’t necessarily encourage them to quit. But I would strongly recommend to have a back up plan. There’s no guarantee that your channel will be successful and make money forever.
but if they are just using it as a side hustle or doing it for fun, then I wouldn’t be worried

I would be fine with it if it is an informative and interesting channel with some substance to it. If it is just another moronic channel posting reaction videos, then I would tell him or her to grow up.
