How to hide being drunk from your parents?

I'm going to this party in a couple of weeks, in18. And there's going to be alcohol so me and my friends might get drunk, it's a house party. She lives in a different city than I do so I'm taking a go train home. When I get home it'd be close to 1 am and by then I think my parents would be sleeping. But just invade they're not how can I hide being drunk from my parents? (It'd be my first time getting drunk). Is there anything I need to know? Cause when I do get out of the train i do have to walk for about 10 min to get home, so can people who are drunk walk? Oh also I might consider sleeping over but I might not be able to because of work the next day which is in the afternoon and how long does it take for you to be sober?

I think people who've never been drunk sometimes overestimate how being it affects you.
You're not just going to suddenly lose control or anything- sure if you keep throwing back vodka shots you'll get to a point where you really shouldn't be walking home or maybe can't even walk properly, but it (for most people) takes a lot to get to that stage. Just drink slowly and don''t go to far on your first time. See how much a few beers and maybe a couple of shots affects you, and go from there.
And walking definitely helps to sober up if you're worried about appearing drunk. Just try not to talk to your parents too much when you get home. Go in, maybe grab a glass of water, then up to bed.

Just keep in mind what could happen to you if you get drunk. Do you really need to get drunk to enjoy yourself? You are leaving yourself open to some serious abuse!

Step one: Don't get drunk
You don't have a safe way home (the train is NOT safe, especially if you're under the influence). You should spend the night
If you do drink make sure it's in safe environment... know the people around you
Keep up with your drinks
Most importantly again don't get drunk. Having a drink or two is fine, but there is no need to drink that much.

Don't do this , use precaution and as you have said, going to another city and walking after leaving train, sounds some trouble. This is you first time even you don't know how you would behave when you were drunk. If you are about to come alone from there then just don't.

That's always going to be difficult, the only way I can think off is spend the night somewhere and when you come home in the morning, come up with an explanation.

There are not many things you can hide from your mother lol and alcohol is easy to smell. Sleeping over is safer than walking home alone drunk at night.

If it's your first time, dont' try to 'get drunk'. Have maybe 2-3 drinks over the evening, it's enough you'll feel it a little. Basically when you feel it, stop drinking, don't drink anything else till your head clears.
