My boyfriend called me the C word!!!

Question

last night my boyfriend and I had been goofing off and he called me (in a joking way) the c word! I was so upset that I went to our bedroom and locked myself in the room. A few minutes later he came in and tried kissing me. He never said I am sorry but he kept wanting a kiss and I was still so mad that I didn't want him near me. Well I calmed down a little later and he came in the room while I was taking a bath and in a joking way I splashed water on him. Well he spit in my face and threw water back on me and was laughing! I was OK with the water but spitting on me?!?!?!?! I was p*ssed and I slapped him on arm and said that was disgusting he got mad and he slept on the sofa. Was I wrong for getting so upset? He said he was just kidding. Calling me the c word and spitting one me should never be a joke...right?

The c word thing, if it was clearly intended to be a joke, and you guys were joking around, I would say ok, maybe let it go.

But HOLY crap, the spitting on your face thing is WAY out of bounds. That's so far out of bounds it's not even in the damn stadium anymore.

I think if you want to salvage the relationship you need to sit him down and calmly ask what in the world made him think it was OK to spit on you. If he responds like a jackass, I'd say get the hell out of that relationship and cut your losses, because he is a total douche.

WOW! You need to leave this guy and move on FAST. It starts with little things and progresses till he is comfortable abusing you in other ways. That what that is plan and simple abuse.

How can you even look at this guy? That is not even close to joking. The "C" word is bad enough. But Spitting on you is an outrageous sign of disrespect and disregard for you. Guys like that give the rest of us a bad rep. Be very careful with him. Who know how his temper will strike you next time.

Him not saying sorry shows he doesn't have any real feelings for you I know it sounds exaggerant but really if this guy isn't willing to apologize for something he screwed up bad with than he thinks he's the superior in this relationship and that he can take advantage of you without you caring like nnitgy said get rid of him fast, I'm sorry but that's probably what it would have to come down to
