It sounds like a compliment to me. If you think about body types as a spectrum, skinny is on one end and fat is on the other end. If you are "a little thicker than skinny", you are probably still close to the skinny end of the spectrum. Thick is a popular word to describe a body type, however I think what he really means is that you are voluptuous 😍
