Maybe I'm overreaction but boyfriend basically said I'm nothing....

Okay so this is why you don't do sports with your boyfriend...

My boyfriend has to wake up early for some crew competition that starts at like 6 in the morning and the coach was asking him what time he was planning on going to sleep after practice (btw I am right next to all of this) and my boyfriend said around 10...and the coach said it would have to be earlier...so I kinda jokingly looked at the coach...but didn't say anything and I think the coach thought I was trying to keep my boyfriend from falling asleep too late tonight so that I could text him longer, which is defiantly not true.

So the coach looked at my boyfriend while I was still next to him and said, "You know crew is first priority over your girlfriend." And before I could hear his response I walked away but all I heard from the coach was "good" which meant my boyfriend agreed.

Now I talked to my friends and we both agreed that maybe he just said that because he knew if he didn't agree with the coach he would get in trouble but I texted him and he told me straight up that STUPID crew was his biggest priority and that crew will last him longer than any relationship up to marriage and I asked him what was the point then and he told me because basically to test out what he likes...

I liked it better when my ex would lie to be about getting married, very naive but at least it made me feel good.

I hate being 17...

Now my boyfriend thinks I'm selfish for thinking that...

So he's got goals. If you want a man that's all about you you're going to have to find a what we call "lover" man. A bit of an over reaction, but women over react over anything.(a girl might over react just because of my comment)

Sure he is an ass for dogging you like that, but it seems to me you picked the wrong guy, I just think you're wrong for being beside him the whole time. relationships shouldn't come with leashes.

Welcome to life and reality, it's not aways great. By the way, any relationship you get into before you turn about 28 has a large chance of failing because both men and women don't stop developing into who they are as a person until around then, so things can always change and those changes end relationships fast. Any relationships you get into now are, basically, practice for the right one.

Nope, physically your brain is done developing between 25 and 28. After a certain point you are pretty much gonna be whatever you are at that point. It's your mentality and it's not able to be changed without the assistance of substances, like prescribed drugs or illegal drugs. It's a sad truth about the human development system.

So dump his stupid ass, tell him to have fun with crew, and go about finding somebody that has smarter priorities than some guy that thinks rowing is more important than his girlfriend.

It's one thing to expect your girlfriend to support you in your hobbies and interests. It's another thing to tell her that she's lower on your priority list than some trivial "sport".
