Boyfriend material vs Hookup material?

What are the big differences between the two types of guys? Are there any?

Oh for sure there is a huge difference!

Boyfriend Material: A guy who is compatible, is comfortable to be around, basically like your friend only you're also sexually attracted to them. These guys are more likely to want to get to know you, be there for you, be your friend, be your everything lol. If we see a future with you which means sharing everything or even a life together, then you'd be boyfriend material.

Hookup Material: A guy who is sexually attractive. These guys don't care a thing about you other than what's in between your legs and what he wants to do in there, plus they're just guys who are not commited to relationships and just wanna bone as much girls as they can. These guys will only contact you for one thing... If you're a guy I would like to just have a night of passionate hot sex and nothing more after that, then you'd be hookup material.

a guy that is hookup material would be a guy that is a sweetheart and stuff and he knows how to make a girl smile. he has potential to be an amazing boyfriend BUT when it comes down to it, he just doesn't want a girlfriend. he either doesn't want to be tied down or he just doesn't think relationships are healthy. boyfriend material is a guy who wants to spend his time with you. he knows how to care about a girl through thick and thin.

THE BIG DIFFERENCES:

hookup material-dont expect them to ALWAYS return your calls or texts where as boyfriend material WANTS to text you and call you to talk to you

-they will flirt with other girls where as boyfriend material won't see other girls minus you.

From what I've seen and understood so far, smart guys are for serious relationships and stupid guys are for hookups. I've never been with a stupid guy. Enough said.

And -for girls ad least- a guy who's extremely hot (to them - has physical features they find most desirable) is for a hookup, and a guy who's relationship material doesn't have to have every physical characteristic that a hookup guy has to have.

I'm not one for random hookups but when I think of a guy who is "hookup material", I think of someone who you're mainly sexually attracted to. While a guy who is "boyfriend material" is also someone you're sexually attracted to, they are also compatible with your personality, someone you're happy to spend a lot of time with, confide in, and so on...:)

Hookup Material: not really someone you can have a good conversation with and have personal interest in, just someone who is sexually compatible with you because he's physically attractive, and nothing more.
