I fought two of my best friends in high school lmao. One was awesome. He said something about my girlfriend at the time so I challenged him, and we slugged it out outside my other friend’s house in the pouring rain. That was the day I learned that it looks way cooler in the movies to give the other guy a free shot lmfao. I recovered and he didn’t mark me up too bad the rest of the fight, but he made that first shot count😂 Big bruise on my cheek the next day lmao. We mutually tapped out from exhaustion in the end, but we had a good scrap. We were cool the next day.
The other one, I had pinched a nerve in my neck in football practice the day before, and he knew it. He still, being a wise guy, slapped a binder out of my hands, and when I bent down to pick it up, he pushed down on my head, and it was the worst pain I’d ever felt at that point of my life. I LOST IT, haha, I actually chased him out of the building we were in, but a teacher saw me and grabbed me up, and he got away. The teacher let me go, and I headed to my locker, which was with the rest of the junior class in a basement corridor known as “The Dungeon.” Only the wrestling team room and the equipment storage were down there, and the lockers had been permanently closed before that year, but we had a large influx of freshman that year so they needed to reopen them. Point being, this corridor was completely unsupervised, we actually had several arranged fights take place down there, haha. Anyway, I was still seeing red from having my neck bent. I was at my locker when I saw my friend come into the corridor, and I put the loop of my locker padlock around my middle finger, made a fist, walked up and swung. Another idiot move right there, I was lucky I didn’t catch him flush or I would have probably broken my finger too lmao🤦♂️ But I did catch him a bit with it, and it opened his forehead right up, good amount of blood. He fired a few punches back at me, we locked up, I punched him in the back a few times, and then I think we both noticed the blood and were like “oh shit, this got real”, and we kind of pushed each other off and started arguing verbally. Then, again, we were cool the next morning on the bus, because that’s how teenage boys roll, haha. He had a couple of those butterfly bandages to close his forehead, no stitches though.
Yes. Multiple friends multiple times, most now-lifelong friends. In fact I dare say any male has or should because of the ingrained instinct for men to establish hierarchy yet moments after have a beer together. It’s currently major. Issue because of female dominate opinion that boys and men fighting is bad, (see Gillette feminist comertial, then never use gillette again, idiots, sexist dicks. yet it’s unquestionably vital for a boy/mans healthy learning environment. Yes boys will be boys unless drugged into submission by clueless single mothers trying to make sons into little girls (criminal neglect in my opinion)
just twice. the first one was very stupid, we were young. we basically never settled it but eventually talked again after a few days. just recently we mentioned it and we just laughed it off. the second one wasn't really a fight but I was upset with her for something and she knew about it. I didn't talk to her for a week and we both cried when we saw each other again lol.
I had a very major fight with my best friend in March. We’ve had a couple of disagreements since we met about four years ago but that one felt like the very end. I’m happy we worked through that tho because it was one hell of a fight.

Yeah. He got a big head and thought he was hard when he was in 11th grade. He started talking mad shit and I told he better check himself… So he put his hands up and took a swing at me. I tapped him lightly in the liver and he went down in a lot of pain.
Yeah I pissed off a best friend years ago and he was a black/red belt in Takwondo, I still remember where and how much it hurt to be kicked in the face by him lmfao
Yeah, when I was 9 or so I got into a fight with my best friend, because of a green pencil...
But don't worry, we aren't friends anymore xD
Well considering theyve all been demoted to “associates” now 😂🤣
Thats bout it
Dont really need em unless im dating
I liked your reply and gave it a "thumbs up" because I can relate. Whenever I assert myself in a relationship, to resolve an issue, they usually just walk away. And there goes the friendship.
@David92506 dang thats sad how people are
@DizzyDesii
It seems to me people are unable to "see themselves." When they look in the mirror all they see is good and if there are any issues it's the other person's fault or their environment.
@David92506 yea i admit i love to talk about myself and hear myself talk, but i also know when to admit im wrong. People need to humble themselves
@DizzyDesii
I have one friend, who is 80-years-old, and I go to his house and drive him to a restaurant and we sit down, eat and chat. I enjoy it although 95% of the conversation is about him and his interest. We spend about 2-3 hours doing this once or twice a week. I always drive. One of the things I don't like is he yells at me if I don't drive the path he wants me to. I got tired of his yelling and told him he is going to have to chip in for gas money or do some of the driving. That was the end of the relationship.
@David92506 😂🤣😂😂🤣 people hate giving gas haha
@DizzyDesii
I spend about one gallon of gas with him once or twice a week. We maybe have gone to lunch 50 times, so $4 x 50 = $200. It would have been nice if he was aware of this and chipped in. Or maybe he was aware of it but didn't feel like offering. It seems to me this is the way of friendships now. Everyone is out to get what they can from the other person. Maybe I'm wrong though. It might just be my bad luck.
@David92506 no you're right. They get what they want and then are done. Thats why i keep telling people 2020 is about “associates”. Friendships are over
@DizzyDesii
I've heard other people say the same thing you just wrote. Friendships are over. It's associate and/or networking. And this happened way before Covid-19 locked us down.
If one wants a friend and companion then get a dog, or cat, or any other pet. Pets can bring so much joy, happiness, and love in one's life.
@David92506 well yea, it started years ago for me. But i just mean 2020 in general has no friendships... not genuine if any. Im not an animal person but yea pets will do. I rather talk to a wall
Currently yes, don’t think she’s my friend anymore!
@blkgold33 well, she recently went though a tough break up and instead of letting me be there for her, she shut me out. tried talking to her multiple times and asking her what i can do to help but she keeps pushing me away and hanging out with other people. i told her i give up.
When I was a teenager I had a physical fight with a "best friend". I was about 17 at the time
How bad was the fight
Pretty bad lol she was bitching behind my back, so i confronted her. She started bitching to my face then punched my arm. So i punched her in the face. All war broke out after that. I wasn't a bully and I never threw the first punch, but i would finish it 😬 I had a few fights with bullies who bullied vulnerable kids at school. I'd confront the bully to stand up for the vulnerable kids. I despised bullies, and still do
Wow beating up bullies you a hero 👏
lol I got into a lot of fights through it, but I didn't think twice about my own well-being.
Even sounding like hero. Fighting for other
A physical fight, no (though they may have hit me once out of anger over something, but I did nothing more about it back then)
Arguments, yes, plenty but it was also what led to the end of the friendship 😪
😁 no, they knew I'd beat them psychologically and were afraid of my unpredictability I was that quiet guy that was a good listener.
Of course, plenty of times.
But we have been able to make up, thankfully!
My husband and I have gotten into many fights and I am in a fight with my sister and mom right now. But with just friends who are not family I just block their number and distance myself from them.
Not physical but we've definitely bickered from time to time
Used to when I was younger. Can't be bothered with arguments now.
Used to fight with my best friend as a kid a lot, then we properly fell out and stopped talking and a couple months later he died
Not a physical fight of course lol but fighting is part of a good relationship. If you don't disagree at times then you are most likely faking it
If you can't fight with your best friend - you aren't best friends, you arrn'y even friends. Then again, for half of you pathetic life forms here a best friend is someone you chatted with online and have never met. So... yeah, that's sad.
Way in the past. However, this was before I really found out that He was NOT a Good friend. I guess I had it coming, a Sensitive Guy like me should be more careful hanging out with an Autistic kid.
My best friend is My twin brother and yes We got into plenty of fist fights.
Many times verbally. Even a few times physically. Me 5'8, he 6'4, me win every time 8)
Never got in any kind of fight with my bestfriend. We just goof around all the damn time🤷.
Not a fistfight but a boxing fight when we were body punching working out. Then it turned to face blows I guess I was hitting him too hard
Oh yeah several times both verbally and physically. But once we fought things usually for better more quickly.
Multiple times back in middle/highschool. I once threw a book on his back. And let me tell you it was one heavy book..
Yes. With different friends. A couple it made us even better friends. at least one it ruined our friendship. As it would turn out, he wasn't that good of a friend.
All the time lol we like to argue a lot but were always there for each other
Yes its a normal thing if you jave fought with your bestfriend that means the friendship is fake
Yes many many many times
Not a physical fight but some harsh words have been said. More than once.
Yes and it was pickles and I beat him till he puked
No such thing as a best friend without a fight
More of a disagreement then a fight.
Never. Our bond is so strong.
Yes very much so
Too many times to remember
Nah dont scrap friends
Yep and talked it out, like good friends do
Wrestled and tumbled that's all
Ex best friends, yes.
Yeah it happens sometimes
Yes... many times
Last time I tell her sorry... thus the fight was over
Yes, and now we don't even talk anymore
Sure. What else is sixth grade for?
Yes and we always patch things up.
Yes, but eventually we find a way to talk
No, I'm a conflict-avoiding pussy
Daily, nothing a smoke session won't fix
Yes, of course.
yes I have
Yeah but we made up weeks later
Yes, because Trump made everything toxic.
I don't have a best friend
