If you have good friends, they'll understand and probably even encourage you to join her. If you already set-in-stone agreed to be in a group with your friends, then in that case they probably wouldn't be too happy. If you already told your crush you're gonna work with her, then you should stick to that. You have plenty of chances to work with your friends, but this is the first (and possibly only) chance you have with your crush!
