My Mom forces me to sit down on the toilet when I go to the bathroom. Is this reasonable?

My Mom says I have to sit down on the toilet whenever I go to the bathroom because it is the neat and civilized way of going to the bathroom. Is she right and is this reasonable?

Yes. Stops you pissing everywhere, and you can learn to control your flow better. Not to mention it puts you in the habit of wiping the seat before you sit, and putting down the lid before you flush.

You can stand and piss when in public bathrooms, you'll be spraying less than others. Your mum is a civilised person, and teaching you right.

Well I have been learning to keep the toilet seat down and wipe before I sit. She also teaches me if women don’t get a choice boys shouldn’t either.

She's a bit weird on that last point, as it's not up to women to choose how men answer the call of nature. But I suppose she's being assertive instead of arguing with you about cleaning up after you.

I have to agree... This doctor told my late grand-dad that sitting while peeing and poo poo is all normal, the reason is cause sitting while urinating/peeing fully empties a man's bladder just like a female. My grand-dad had throat cancer operations and

If she thinks that the toilet becomes unclean, she has some right to ''force'' you to clean it yourself.

Not really, no, but it does give you time to catch up on your emails on your phone. She's forcing your subservience. I'm guessing it goes way beyond toileting though.

It sure does. I’m also forced to shave my face, legs, armpits etc. I guess it doesn’t really matter anyway because I don’t really get a choice.
