Is it easy to arrange a surrogate for your kid?

I thought if I’m too old for child bearing when I get married; I will get a surrogate instead but my record isn’t clean cause I spent a lot of time at the hospital and saw a mental health professional when I was in my early 20s and I wonder if I will be banned from adopting children because of it.

For mental health it depends on the review for the patient that spent time under care. If the patient had an amazing outcome that was life changing that would be less of an issue. Laws are different between the US and Canada. The US has a lot of different options and different laws for each state. Checking out your local facilities website might give you a start in determining the requirements. If the website does not provide the information, email the facility or stop in for a visit.
I would encourage you to seek the counsel of the Lord early on while you still have much time at hand.

You know how legalities work. Legalities, legal troubles, wordy contracts. They are always almost synonyms to each other. Have a good attorney or company who is doing it for a while and have a good reputation doing it.

Still try adopting. You couldn't be too old to bear a child at 36. That's your age on your profile and again it is individuals decision.
