Is a father's intuition as good as a mother's in detecting bad and good people?

Before he became my boyfriend, I've introduced him once to my parents. That's the only single time I've ever seen a happy, sincere smile. He hated my two previous ex bfs (even created a nasty nickname for one of them) and there was a time he didn't want to even meet the guy. Both ex bfs were bad news. He was right about them.

He's the only man that managed to get a sweet greeting and longer conversation from him. He rare makes longer conversations with others, unless he likes the person. Overall is a father's intuition as good as a mother's when it comes to detecting good and bad people?

I think they are equally valuable but are finely tuned to different things. Women's intuition is scary accurate at reading people down to the slightest nuances, detecting lies and so on. Men's is quite different, it let's guys kinda just be at the right place at the right time. If you've ever seen a dad catch a falling baby or avoid a car accident with split second accuracy and in this case the "gut feeling"that this guy is alright
