My family and friends somewhat treat me like this. Even my parents started turning to me very privately for advice from the time I reached my preteens. I don't know why; I'm hardly a role model.

I think the biggest reason is that I'm very conflict-averse. I hate seeing people I care about quarreling and holding grudges against each other. So I feel a very strong and impulsive need when I see disputes arise to step in and ask both parties what's wrong and try to resolve it for them, even taking responsibility for any possible solutions I offer to the both of them (like I'll try to front the cost of the solution I offer doesn't work). It's not because I'm a particularly responsible person, and I'm not when things are going smoothly, but I feel a strong need to step up and try to resolve conflicts when they occur.

Another possibility is that even though I'm hardly so knowledgeable, I know I'm not and am always skeptical about the accuracy of my assumptions. So I'm very reluctant to form strong assumptions, and I think that makes people seek me out sometimes if they want someone trying their best to be impartial.

Im more like a blind, a deff and a mute, all from different religions trying to convince their faith is the one and only true faith. In other words, its like growing up in a nutt house.

I have been absent from social gatherings for years but I was usually overlooked because I did not have an elite Wall Street Career or Medical Job or Doctorate in Engineering. In my family a person with only a bachelors degree is given the same respect as a rapist, you need at least a graduate degree before they are willing to acknowledge your name on social media and you need at least 120K a year before they will invite you to their house once a year.
