Do you or did your parents interact/work with each other or with you on a 'need to know' basis?

I don't know how my parents worked together, except that the result was a divorce after 36 years of marriage. They never included their children in discussing matters that might be considered family business.

Not blatantly but looking back, yes.

There were a lot of family secrets and hidden trauma. They wanted us to grow up free of all that as much as possible.
