Going into an arcade and placing a quarter on the control panel to represent that you are next in line to play the game.

Wearing ripped jeans makes someone look homeless or like a bum.

What a rotary phone is.

Knocking two classroom erasers together to get the chalk out makes a cloud and gets it all over your shirt and hands.

Using a clothespin to attach a playing card to your bike to make it sound "cool."

Putting an old key in the hand grip of your bike to act like you are starting it.

Taking a wooden ruler with that metal on the side, rubbing it against your shoe sole to make it hot and burning someone's neck with it in class.

Making a paper football to try to make field goals during class.

That's kinda hard since there is still so much from the past represented today. I've never done a lot of stuff, but I understand what it is because people have told me their experiences, or shown what it was like using media like movies or books. Time flies by but it doesn't always clean up after itself. We even know about what some ancient people's everyday lives were like because of preserved writings and artifacts.

Anyway I remember when you couldn't charge things in your car, and I would turn off the light on my Gameboy to make it last longer.

When I was in kindergarten we ran cross country track through outlying parts of a city without any parents/guardians hovering around. All parents were at the finish line. There were no participation trophies. You got a metal based on your achievement. Also parents didn't drive kids around in cars. Kids walked, rode bikes, or crawled. I mean if it was to go someplace you wanted to go. There were no fat kids.

Eating breakfast then disappearing as mom yelled at you to be home by sunset hop on your BMX and let the adventure begin dreading seeing the sunset approaching not wanting to end the adventure. It might be a fort with friends skinny dipping in the pond or just ridding all day!
