Not sure. Maybe it's because they think we're still in the 13th century.
some of these comments gave me a headache because like you said they think we are still living in the 13th century 😿.
Probably has more to do with the fact that too many men & women are choosing to freeload in life and live only for themselfs rather than provide for the next generation as the last generation had provided for them.
The problem is soo bad that we aren't even able to sustain our current population, and there is going to ever more serous demographic and cultural problems because of it going forward.
We have a generation of supreme poorly educated and selfish people.
To think that they even make the excuse of things being too hard when conditions today are better and wealthier than ever and even the 'suffering' is luxury compared to what most of the 100+ trillion children that have ever lived went thou.
@monorprise, just go have a cup of coffee or water and live your life, let your arguments go, no one who is sure about not having kids is going to have them no matter how many arguments you make sir.

I have no problem with people who don't want children or people who decide that they should not have children. I do have a problem with abortion but that is another topic.
I don't know why some people are judgmental by peopel's personal life choices. Like if you sleep around you are a whore, a slut, etc. If you think about women sexually you're a pervert. But then again if you're a virgin you are a loser.

I don't really see this happening that often nowadays; primarily because women who dont want children are the ones who mostly enable hookup culture.
Guys and patents who don't want you to just hookup, and actually want a family, are the ones that take issue with it.
I don't understand it neither. Everyone has to do what's best for them.
It's evil to bring kids into this cold world without taking the proper precautions when you know good and well you don't desire any children.
I think children are fantastic but I also understand it's not for everyone and that's fine.
Meh, I'd be the richest man in the world if I had a dollar for every girl in her early 20s who said she'd never have kids and then ended up wanting them desperately in her 30s.
I think people are judgmental of such women for two reasons. First, they have the experience and wisdom to know you'll likely end up wanting kids eventually, like most other women do. They know it's coming and don't want to see you make unwise choices that will make it hard for you when you change your mind.
I also think guys are very cynical about girls today who are all about the girl power stuff and spend their 20s sleeping around and working on their career and doing everything except taking advantage of the fact that they are at their most powerful stage in life in terms of finding a good life partner. But they squander that opportunity and then complain that there are no good men left. Yeah that's because the good ones got snapped up by the higher value girls with better priorities.
It's a mindset that has been perpetuated for at least a couple thousand years, it's going to take time to go away. In the past it was free labor for the farm or somebody to pass your inheritance to, depending on if you were rich or a peasant. Some people place great importance on carrying on the family name, etc. I don't know where you live but nobody really gives a shit over here.
people are harsher on women than men for not wanting kids because of this belief that all women should be nurturing and caring. Especially if you are dealing with the older generation where people are very close minded.
I’ve never wanted children. I remember when I was like 15 or 16 I stated I don’t want children and I got so much backlash 💀. I honestly think it’s guilty moms who wish they could have their old life back before kids.
Some camps are threatened by women challenging traditional values, and many people hate the idea of women having more freedom and fun than them. I’m personally enjoying my life child free.

Because women are supposed to want to be a mother. It’s like society saying that to be happy you have to have certain things done at a certain age. If messed up we shouldn’t be judging each other over if we want kids are
Probably because of their willingness to kill in order to not have to accept any responsibility when they screw up. It only takes a few of these debased lunatics to paint all women who don't want kids in a very bad light.
Because it's called natural selection, the weak will dissappear, people usually don't like weakness, when your parents see that you won't have kids they know all their legacy and the legacy of their ancestors will be gone and replaced by black Africans or arabs that have 8 kids per family.
Arabs are not having so many kids , they are having more than us for the simple reason that they are not so eager to have their women do everything but sustain the next generation.

I don't understand what you mean are you saying that women who don't want kids are not treated harshly and judged.
I even get this when I say I don't want to carry. Like I want kids but I am not going to be the one who carries or births them. Blows peoples fucking minds and really shows their true colors.

Because there are a lot of people out there who don't see women as anything more than objects designed to be used by and be subservient to men and as incubators... basically its the thought that women should be domestic slaves and livestock.
Because they are idiots who don't understand that the world is better off with people having children as an option to increase possibility of the children having a better life.
I've never had a strong desire to be a parent so I won't force others to do it either. some people are better off not having children for verse reasons. that being said I know there are people out in the world. who would like to have children but can't for verse reasons.
