Is it wrong that most affluent families have servants to do the chores in India?

I don't see that as a problem from any angle.
It is not wrong. We had two servants ourselves. One for cooking and the other one to do the dishes, clothes and clean the house. It is most definitely not wrong. It is purely business. I think that, in Mumbai, there are consulting and hiring services for this job to. Really good. Even if the charges may be a bit more, the headache of not dealing with those people is not there, at least.
It seems you have a lot them. If they are good then its okay, but if sort of work lazy, then you need to keep an eye on them for the time they are in the house.
Are they paid workers?
Then they are not slave.
Is life unfair? Of course.

are they employees?
because pretty much... all the rich people around the world would hire housekeeping services, lol
I assume that most people that have servants do pay them well. I know the United Kingdom Queen has servants. I don't know that some elitist in the United States has servants.
Nope. Its pretty normal. Even middle class families have servants in the subcontinent. Nothing wrong.
