Do you think homeschooled children are deprived of social interaction and therefore become awkward and weird?

Both my husband and I were homeschooled, and we are very social. While I do know some homeschoolers who are socially awkward the percentage is not that different from public schoolers who are socially awkward / have social anxiety from what I've seen.

How did your parents and your husband's parents make sure you were social when they had you homeschooled?

Church, sports, homeschool groups, etc..

I wouldn't say they are awkward but definitely out of the loop when it comes to modern trends. I homeschooled my kids a little bit but I'd never do it there whole life for this reason.

Depends on the interactions they have with other kids outside of their own home.

Absolutely. I was a homeschooled child but my mom made sure I was social. I went on field trips, joined sports, hung out with my family and stuff.

Not at all but if I hadn’t have had those social interactions then I would be awkward like my cousin
