Do you think money changed him, or did it just reveal his true personality?

My uncle (more like my dad's first cousin), when he was poor, was the nicest guy you'll meet. And when I say poor, I mean my dad had to drive him to work because he didn't own a car. Now that he's the owner of a successful local business, his employees say that he's disrespectful to them. So much so that many of them have left him and gone to work somewhere else. He ignores them when they ask him a work-related question, even when he's standing right next to them and can clearly hear them. He even curses them out. Yeah, his employees. He's just not the same nice friendly that they used to know.
