“Whether you like it or not, you’re stuck with me, kiddo. It says I’m your mother right there on the birth certificate. Didn’t carry you for 9 months and go through (x) hours of Labour for nothing.” would be my funny response.

However, if I was a lot more patient and my child was more serious, I would have a talk with him/her and ask them to explain why they think so. If they were still unsure, DNA test it is! I would be very heartbroken though (if they were my biological son or daughter)

Let's see there's the stretch marks so check. Then there's the leftover baby fat so that's another check. Then there's the birth certificate so another check. And if all that fails I'll show them their birth video of me screaming and pushing them out.

I'm on the other side of this. 24 years ago I disowned my mom. I literally told her she has no son. I have not spoken to her since. She's tried. She was violently thrown out of my wedding. And she tried everything she could to ruin a few vacations. But I've remained firm. The most she will get from me, when she dies, is an unmarked grave Ina random cemetery.

I’ve done this to my parents because everyone is pale except for me and I don’t look like anyone 😂 . My momma showed me my birth certificate though so we’re good lol
