Woah pretty harsh. Thought parents (always or usually?) had the best intentions for their kids. Weird! Anyway, good for you for standing up for yourself. Maybe it's just that no one's perfect haha. Even parents! I mean I don't have any children so maybe it's a big responsibility and they just weren't really ready to handle that? At the same time, I guess adults need to be adults at a certain time, but still... hehe thanks for your answer. That was brutally truthful!

Mine only wanted me to be how they wanted, docile, quiet, "pure". They didn't care about me, my safety, my mental health or anything as it was too inconvenient and uncomfortable for them.
