If a woman says,"I don't want kids but if I get pregnant I'm going to keep it" means she wants kids right?

I had this long, repetitive, drawn out conversation with a friend because she said this exact phrasing.
Which led me to saying that she wants a child or children because of how she said it to which she disagreed. This left me dumbfounded because she said this. So I had her explain it to me to hear out her explanation. Which still sounded the same way from how she said it the first time, to which she told me i wasn't listening. So I asked her how saying one thing only to negate it before you finish your statement makes sense. What i roughly meant was, if you dont want kids, you dont have kids. If you want to have kids, you birth the kids. When you're resolute on something you tend to stick to it. Not that you dont want any kids then decide to have a kid. The debate was not about being able to change your mind, but that the underlying truth is that she wants a kid. To which, there was complete cognitive dissonance on her part on the matter regardless of how i tried to logic the thought process she explained to me. So i gave up on trying and just changed subjects.
