If I don't want kids, but, something happens, and she gets pregnant (we're in a no abortion state), what happens?

I'm in Ohio, where it's now essentially illegal. Not totally but, yeah. I don't want kids. I never did. I'm an only child and male, and white, but, I just don't. So, what happens if something goes wrong, and she winds up getting prego. What do i do. Do i give it up for adoption?

Ohio is not a no abortion state. The ban after 6 weeks is on hold by the courts. Right now, abortion is legal in Ohio up to 22 weeks. If it weren't legal, she could go to another state. She isn't a tree, she can go elsewhere.

Birth control is still on the table, as far as I know. Some states blocked planned parenthood, like Arkansas and Texas, but under medicaid still have zero co-pay for hormonal preventative birth control from your doc. Most private insurance will have no co-pay for it as well.
I agree that regardless of consequences like pregnancy or STDs people will continue to have sex, his case doesn't seem like a lack of access though, but like she wants the kid, and he needs to buck up. A man's decision in having kids is to get a vasectomy or not have unprotected sex.
As far as states blocking birth control goes, there will be tons of saber rattling, but when it comes to doing so, few of them will actually do anything, especially broke states like Louisiana where I'm at.
The politicians still want to get elected, so they'll talk about reductions to appease the right, but then say it simply can't be done to keep the status quo with left and center. Mifepristone was an excellent example there, tons of noise on outlawing it, then when it got out of the news cycle, ensure it can't be outlawed.
Straight up in his case, he chose not to use condoms, she chose not to be on birth control, in their state abortion is legal up to 22 weeks. 22 weeks is not "a no abortion state". I'm not hearing an "all my children" scenario where she was in a coma for 5 months.

Whatever she wants. The choices are all hers before birth. As for adoption, you must both agree in Ohio, unless you fail to acknowledge paternity with the court within 30 days of the birth. If you do fail, she can unilaterally give up the child for adoption, but she can still decide to keep the child and get you put on child support.
