Would you tell your 18yr old child that he/she was conceived during a rape or would you keep it a secret from him/her?

Basically the child loves her father and is under the impression that her parents had some kind of lovely history or great love story and keeps asking questions about how her parents met and how she came to be. Should the Mother tell her what the Dad did or should the Mother take the secret to her grave?

I think she meant like the father is like a new guy not THE guy who did it. But that the supposed real dad made a connection with the kid
