Do you still talk to your school friends?

Only one I went to college with, and that's because we work together.

Everyone else? Nope! We stopped talking the moment we went our separate ways after high school and college.

I don't mind one bit, lol. Honestly I wasn't very close to any of them, and I'm sure the feeling was mutual. That's part of growing up: outgrowing people (especially the wrong ones).

I would not say I had friends when I was in university - I would say I had brothers and sisters and mentors from my religious classes and groups. I loved the diversity more than my own tradition cause these people had new ideas.

I guess you mean the people that I used to know.

Looking back, I can count a few of them as having been actual friends; and a few who I wouldn't have counted as friends then, but in retrospect, I suspect that we may be friends if we were to connect in present times.

We haven't connected in many, many years.

I'd like to, in some way.

Nope. Ever since I cut myself off of facebook, that was it. Even then, I didn't talk to them and considered them my friends. But the thing was... they didn't even wish me happy birthday when it came. They were all on their own living their lives... it became clear it was time to live mine.

I have kept in touch with one, regularly. We grew up 2 houses down from each other and have kept in touch.

She was my maid of honor. And recently my husband and I moved back to our home state after living on the other side of the country for 3 years. We specifically bought a house near my friend's house 😂

No I left school during covid throughout the summer I was also out with the same 4 people I went to school with but after a year I spoke to none of them it was on and off with 2 of them the usual trio kinda thing but I kinda drifted away because don’t have time for drama 😂

The craziest thing happened yesterday. Thicc King, in the flesh, RETURNED after all of these years. Along side him was one of my old 4th grade friends too. Truly an Apex experience
