Girls, I have an introverted friend. She's more friendly around our friend group and I'm the only person she is quiet around. Does she hate me?

Essentially, the question says it all. I have this introvert friend okay. We have a friend group of 5 people. She talks to everyone in a friendly manner except for me. She said that she didn't trust me at all, though I haven't done anything to her. (This roots from a joke in which you can't trust me alone with an object.) I don't know what I've done and I've honestly always assumed she dislikes me. Advice? What do I do?

I have been friends with her for a year, and she wasn't like this. Only recently has she been acting this way.

Introverts are generally theor true selves around people the like most. Introverts loke knowing you're there. You're presence I good because they can recharge while you're around while they are being drained with others. If you feel slighted that her bubbly sode is only shown to others then maybe this personality type will be challenging for you. If you can appreciate that's what at means, you have someone who cherishes you very much.

You could be straightforward and ask but regardless of if you do or don’t, I wouldn’t worry about it. This woman isn’t a best friend or even a close friend to you from the sound of it, you’re just in the same group of people, so why waste time focusing on the attention she does or doesn’t give you? People such as herself mesh better with some than they do with others, even just with one person how she is with you. Conversations don’t flow as easily or the vibe is just never quite right. Whatever the case. So don’t take it so personally, you don’t have to carry on with her how she does with everyone else. Focus on the others, and yourself.

It’s easy to assume the worst. My bet is she likes you, but is afraid to say something stupid in front of you that will make you dislike her. Staying quiet is the safe bet for her. Try to involve her yourself. She’ll come around.

If she's not that important to you, then just give her space. Act natural and friendly... if she warms up then good or leave it
