My girlfriend is pregnant so I’m about to become a young father with little life experience. Am I supposed to raise my son to become a bread winner?

First of all, I am very old-fashioned. I am a younger man that still somehow survived the culture shock in America.

Some of the books I’ve been looking into say to raise your son to realize right away to be the breadwinner and showcase the example.
Another question I have is about emotions. I believe a man is supposed to handle your problems on your own meaning to never show your anger or sadness. You have to learn to control your emotions and work these emotions out on your own because that is how you become a better man by working out problems.

I will be there for him but I want him to develop problem solving skills early on right away. I also want him to develop good habits. I’m also looking into technology because I think it’s too much of a distraction. I want him to have the best education possible. We already have that set up. I’m just wanting to become the best father possible to raise a good human being because my biggest nightmare is raising a failure or weak man.
