First of all, I am very old-fashioned. I am a younger man that still somehow survived the culture shock in America.
Some of the books I’ve been looking into say to raise your son to realize right away to be the breadwinner and showcase the example. Another question I have is about emotions. I believe a man is supposed to handle your problems on your own meaning to never show your anger or sadness. You have to learn to control your emotions and work these emotions out on your own because that is how you become a better man by working out problems.
I will be there for him but I want him to develop problem solving skills early on right away. I also want him to develop good habits. I’m also looking into technology because I think it’s too much of a distraction. I want him to have the best education possible. We already have that set up. I’m just wanting to become the best father possible to raise a good human being because my biggest nightmare is raising a failure or weak man.

Many of the things you’ve listed are good things to do! I’m not too sure about the emotional aspect. Stoicism is not inherently bad, but it’s not inherently good either. Sometimes it comes off as cold. Children experience all sort of emotions, including anger or sadness. I don’t think teaching your son to suppress his emotions will have a positive impact later on in his life. You’re raising someone's future husband, someone’s future father. Suppose he marries and has daughters? How will your teachings affect his relat With them? It’s important to teach your son how to recognize his emotions and deal with them in a healthy manner, not to dismiss them. That’s how he’ll become level-headed.

Sounds mostly good. We are very traditional as well. But communicating emotions with your child's mother is going to be extremely important. If you are not communicating important things like that then it's going to be a lot like raising your child in a broken home by two single parents.
Yeah, I don't think there's anything wrong about raising your kids in a traditional manner, it's probably better. your son will be figuring things out as he grows and he will look up to you as his dad.
Plus, if you're trying to educate yourself, I don't doubt you'll over do it on anything.
