I can understand where you're coming from, but what you're saying sounds like "I'll trust you when you show me you can be trusted, but I won't give you the opportunity to show me you can be trusted." You need a job to get experience, but you can't get a job until you have experience. It's true that people need to prove their reliability, but we need to give them the opportunity to show that before they can prove it. Don't hold onto people who don't show you they are good friends, but don't wait till they're good friends before making them your friend.
