So im in grade 10 and a bunch of girls sit near me, I don't know why but i get the weird feeling that i talk A LOT more to girls than other guys and it makes me feel like a simp. how do i stop? i dont wanna talk so much with them but i can't just help it especially now that theyre used to it i can't just stop talking all of a sudden right?
Why do you want to stop talking to them or find it bad that you are doing that? There is nothing wrong with having friends of the opposite gender so long as they are the "good" type of friend and not a bad influence on you.
It sounds like that because you sit by them, you naturally talk to them. You could always take a different seat if that bothers you that much. It is natural to talk to the people that you sit around in school.
I just don't understand why you have such a negative view of talking to someone just because they are girls. Why is that so bad? I had lots of friends of the opposite gender when I was in school. Nothing wrong with it. This whole labeling yourself as a "simp" is just nonsense. Don't buy in to that rubbish. You are allowed to have friends that are girls and not be a "simp".
My husband's best friend in this entire world is a girl. Does that make him a simp? Nope, it just means that he connects with her more than most of the guy friends that he has.

Mentality like that will be the reason you're single later in life when you are ready to pursue a relationship or want girls to pay you attention. Look, screw what others think. I know you are going to hear that a lot, but I promise it's true, especially at your age. You can talk to guys AND girls without being considered a "simp" (seriously, I hate that word; it's so stupid).
Just say hi to the girls like you usually do, then spend time with the guys: balance. You don't even have to overthink it.
Girls are exciting. I see no reason to NOT talk with them :)
