Why dont the wife and or kids say anything to dad?

Dad is cheating on mom for years with the same person. Mom knows and kids 16 and 17 found out.

Dad travels for work every week to the same place.. and sometimes lies about working a weekend to see his girlfriend.

Kids are sad and mad. Mom is irate. But Noone ever confronts Dad. The Mom just berates the girlfriend via social media.

Why do you think Noone has blasted Dad and they let him get away with it? It could be a sexless marriage too they have separate bedrooms. I saw it.

I think maybe she's waiting for financial reasons? She hasn't worked in 20 years. Or she's just hanging around to anger the girlfriend?

It sounds like she's a gold digger and isn't willing to give up the financial support, no other reason a woman would stay with a cheater, and before anyone cites it being for the kids, it's never for the kids.

Great perspective never thought of it that way but it makes sense. The kids know too she must have told them to keep quiet using money as the incentive. I hated the dad now I feel bad for him from this angle.

No he's scum too, he could just leave but instead he cheats.

There is no victim in this aside from the kids, both parents are jerks.

I think this woman has low self esteem. Even if she doesn't want a divorce she can speak to him privately and tell him to leave the girlfriend for the sake of the family. Especially since the kids know.
