I agree, the relationship status depends quite a lot bc if a stranger tells me about how his dad molested him as a kid, I’m much less inclined to listen versus a friend opening up about their past and why they feel the way they do. It also heavily, heavily, depends on if they’re seeking treatment for whatever trauma they’re unloading or not. There’s a difference between venting and dumping, after all.

I was dating this girl a month ago. It was the first date so we went through typical questions like do you have any kids? She said no, then proceeded to break into telling me how her son died. Immediately dropping that bomb killed the convo. How would you expect someone to transition off that topic?

It can be a turn off. I've overshared. There are boundaries and sometimes I have trouble knowing where they are. I realize it like the second after I've said something but that's a second too late.

Depends on what it is if your talking and won't stop talking it's bothersome. also depends on if it's a girl or a dude I'm fine with a girl talking nonstop but if a dude does that It can get annoying.
