My wife and I are going to an Irish pub later.

For a good 15 years, I used to get invited to perform at a large Irish ceilidh on St. Paddy's day. I don't usually play Irish music, but once a year I would cobble together a band containing accordion, mandolin, bass, sometimes an Irish banjo and extra acoustic guitar, and harmony vocals. I played acoustic guitar and sang lead.
We did a set of around six pub songs that the audience could join in on.

But that ended after 2019 when the covid hysteria and lockdowns began in 2020. I understand that they are finally having one this year, but I'm not involved. The organizers abandoned me during covid because I was anti mask and anti jab. I guess we are no longer friends. That's fine.

They think I am anti-vax, which is like calling someone who doesn't want to eat GMOs and agricultural poisons anti-food.

Going out shoe shopping with the my wife.

Maybe... just maybe... we'll swing by the Cathedral to this man and his amazing story of inspiration. I hope we don't find any snakes... and I reaffirmed with my wifey... no snakes in the house... I respect snakes rights, but... not in my house, ya know?

Thank you, Jesus, for inspiring St. Patrick to mission! His story is one where it goes to show, in the face of what seems misery, listening to God in spirt and truth, can turn into new life, and change the world. ... for good. Interesting that he was enslaved... by the Irish... people whom were at times in history, enslaved as well.

Irish family here - we are making corned beef cabbage and potatoes. Shockingly we don't drink because almost everyone in my family are recovered alcoholics lol so they can't. I don't drink that much anyway so it's not like I need it. We are going to watch a classic Irish John Wayne movie called The Quiet Man. It's our tradition to watch it. I made some traditional Irish cakes and soda bread.

Beer, Cider, Pub…. And close to the general area I reside…it’s a long drive but  green Krispy Kreme hot doughnuts off the line.  After our dinner paid for designated driver drives our sorry and drunk asses at 7pm to “hot and now line.” Then back to bar with 5 dozen lining them up. Better than mistletoe 💋

At home with my fiancee. She is Chinese and it's not a big deal to her. I have some Irish heritage but I don't like cooked cabbage and I don't drink beer (I prefer Scotch) so going out for dinner is not a huge attraction.
