Do you think people as a whole are trustworthy anymore?

I feel like now I have to keep an eye on everyone because the past 3 people I trusted were good and if I told them to not tell someone something they wouldn’t tell and they told. Worst part is it comes as a surprise when they seem nice like they’ll say what’s up, help me out sometimes and introduce me to some people then they turn. Just makes me mad because there’s nothing I can’t stand more than someone who lies and is a fake friend
