Would it be wrong to have two different parties for your child if you your family and friends don’t get along with your child’s father?

Like let’s say your child’s father was abusive in the past and because of that, some of your family and friends still don’t like him. Some have chosen to be cordial with him but for the most part that isn’t the case. So you fear conflict if your child’s father were to be around those family and friends who refuse to be cordial regardless of him no longer being abusive and regardless of the child you guys have together. They also could care less if you forgave him. Wouldn’t having two different parties be smarter and on the safe side?

I think it’s a good plan. I’ve seen a few situations where couples who divorced / separated with kids together had separate parties when the kid (s) were with them. If only as simple as they live in different cities and a party for everyone invited wouldn’t work. In one place and time.

Yes I think you can celebrate them as many times and with whoever you choose. I'm sure he rather have a party full of people in a good mood than with people not getting along
