Is it my responsibility to tell my aunts landlord to check for animals before burning a brush pile?

My aunt lives in a trailer park. The residents all put their brush from yard work into a pile out pack. When I burn at my house, I flip the pile, and check for baby birds, and stuff like that. I've never met her landlord, but is it my responsibility to find our who he is, and tell him to check for animals in the pile before its burned?
