I do that all the time, except it's with characters from novels I've written. It gets lonely where I'm at, and the silence can make you question your own sanity. I swear, sometimes I hear voices inside the walls!

The quiet plays tricks on you. I read in a psychology book that people often talk to anointment objects to fill what's missing from their social life. I'm an introvert and I like being alone, most of the time.
