i got a puppy turned out he has round worms i am curious should i cuddle him or should i stay away and main question can roundworm spread to humans and if so what are the chances of me getting it from my puppy and can it spread through cuddling and hugs and licks

i’ve had diarrhea and a bit of a headache but the headache went away i don’t think i got a fever and no cough or pain in the abdominal i always washed my hands after cleaning up after him and the most i do is cuddle him and he sleeps with me other than that i sanitize everything what would your opinion be should i consult a doctor or do you think i’m clear for now i’ve only had the pup for 4 days in the house
