Would never really happen.

If it still did, it would mostly depend on the outcome. If it all ends well without repercussions both my parents would likely think it funny and make it a mainstay of any family gathering to the point I'd wish I was at the receiving end instead.

If it ended poorly? He'd never forgive me. I should be able to de-escalate things or why would I ever be a cop? If the situation was impossible to solve in a different way... I mean, both my parents are police. Both have been in all kinds of situations. They simply would not forgive me because they know there's always a different solution than shooting.
