How old is he? What breed? It depends on the age and the size of the dog. Im a vet technician
He will be fine. It's a simple procedure.
Simple procedure, can also fuck up a dogs health and growth in the long run.
@Brittanyroseee incredibly unlikely considering the dogs age.
She did not mention the dogs age
And UC davis have tons of studies on spaying and neutering. Some of the studies say to not neuter AT ALL depending on breed and size of the dog
@Brittanyroseee the dog is at least over 2 years old. Idc what some studies say, we have far too many unwanted animals in the world we don't need any more.
Oh well, then you will hate me cuz im not neutering my future dog at all and im buying him from a breeder. Irresponsible people are not my problem and dogs health is more important
Studies are always gonna outweigh overpopulation. There will always be unwanted Animals just like unwanted kids. :)
I can already tell you are against responsible breeders 😂
Yes, responsible breeders exist. If you ONLY support adoption then you ONLY support backyard bred dogs with unknown lineage and unknown genetics:) i will continue to support reputable breeders and i will continue talking about health risks that comes with sterilization. UC davis is more knowledgeable.
@Brittanyroseee ah yes buying purebreds which have more chances of getting certain health issues... If you want to dive into a money eating pit be my guest. But I'm going to continue adopting my mixed animals who have been neutered and live well beyond life expectancy without any health or behavioral issues 😊
Trust me, your dog will be just fine.
