I told my ex not to go back to my family members house, so he told me that he had to go back to get our daughters shoes. I didn't give him permission to go to my grandmothers house and told him that if he shows up, I will file a restraining order on him. He doesn't know where I live, and I don't want him in my apartment, so he has to pick up our daughter in front of the leasing office. There are legal things going on with my family and there is no contact between them and I.. I told him if he shows up at my family members house then I will have to get legal with him too. Why do these people not understand or respect boundaries?

You folks in the comment section are the problem - how would you feel if someone showed up at your property without your permission. The problem with toxic people they don't respect boundaries. My family is in legal stuff with me and I asked my ex husband to stay away from my family. He didn't get permission from me or my family to stop anywhere. They can actually call the cops on him for trespassing and use that against me like I gave him permission to go by in court.

Because you're making this worse if yes. Give your daughter her shoes, or the one with legal ramifications could be you.

No they are not there because they are in the trash - my family tossed them. How is he going to tell me what he's going to do at someone else's house. I told him to stay away from my family house because they're are legal things going on attorney and all - are you people stupid?
