What would be a day in paradise for you?

I've got a friend that lives far away from me and I would really like to just spend the day with them

I had about 30-60 minutes in paradise once.

It was this past November when I had a colonoscopy.

While under that anesthesia, I was 100% completely oblivious to existence.

This was beyond sleep.
No dreams.
No sense of time.
No awareness - conscious, subconscious, or otherwise.
Absolutely, positively nothing from the cerebrum. It was "off".

Why is this paradise?

Because there is no paradise like the absence of pain - ANY pain.
No emotional pain.
No physical pain.
No painful memories.
No constant sense of hopelessness or futility.
None.
No pain whatsoever.
Nothing.

When you are in pain all the fucking time, you just want it to stop.
And, when that finally happens, that's paradise!

For me, a day in paradise would be 80-degree Fahrenheit weather, in a noncrowded beach resort with my two best friends, just relaxing. We would get nice drinks, go to a spa, and just chill.

As I am studying Islamic texts nowadays, (doing comparative studies among the religious scriptures) describe various aspects of Jannah (Paradise ) including magnificent gardens, flowing rivers of pure water, and abundant fruits. Believers are promised eternal youth, perfect health, and freedom from worldly troubles. They are said to be surrounded by opulent dwellings, adorned with precious gems and luxurious furnishings.

Moreover, in Paradise, believers will be reunited with their loved ones, and they will have the opportunity to engage in fulfilling relationships. They will also have the privilege of conversing with and being in the presence of prophets and other righteous individuals. 🌱

The last three days has been as close to that as I've known so far.
A two-day get-together with party, activities, artists and dogs on a farm in the middle of nowhere just enjoying the company.

.. if I'd be dreamy about it then.. maybe being in love with someone, enough so that I can trust that it will be something and then that I get to fullfill that with touch and passion.

A day in paradise would be to have all my exes together with me, on a tropical island, all of us getting along together, and doing whatever we want with each other. Yes, sex would be part of that, but not the only thing.

A day with my stepson. Kind of a downer answer, but I lost rights in the divorce after raising him as my son from the day he was born. After dragging it out in court with my life savings I managed to get a few hours of supervised visitation 4 days a year and the time in between is just crippling emptiness in my single guy starter apartment after having to completely restart my life.
