I decided to sell my childhood home. My fiance and I have huge plans and I want tomake huge profit out of it. My mom is at a nursing home in Forth Wort. No one lives in that house the cost is high to maintain this place so my brother and I decided to sale it. But I want to make it as much mony as possible. Its got a pool, 4 car garage. I've sould al the furniture which I made a good prifit out of it which is good money formy fiance and I to by something nice.

I don't know about property values in the area, but I'd be shocked if you were looking at less than $2M in for a house that big. Dallas is an unreasonably expensive place to live in other regards, so I'm willing to bet the property prices are unreasonable too.

You need to ask that question of a few realtors in your area.

Also, if your real interest is how much money you would clear from a sale, then you can ask a realtor to create a projected HUD-1 closing statement that shows all of the closing costs and commissions that you would be required to pay and it would show the net proceeds to seller.

I know the property values in Texas are not as high as other places in America. You need to have an appraisal done so you know what you are dealing with. Go up on real estate websites and look for comparable properties in the area.

It depends on the area. If you're too close or too far from the city, that'll negatively impact the overall value of the house.
