What does she mean by an indefinite break up?

an indefinite break up is the same as a regular break up. she's breaking up with you. the only thing different is she is implying that MAYBE, SOMEDAY in the future its POSSIBLE that you MIGHT get back together... assuming she doesn't meet someone while she's at school. Forget about her and start dating other girls.

That is the lamest excuse for a breakup. It means she just doesn't see you as more, but still cares enough to not hurt your feelings so she tells you that she doesn't have time for you. Indefinite or definite, no one can tell what the future will do; maybe it will work out down the road but maybe it won't. Right now, though, she doesn't feel it and so I wouldn't focus on it right now. Sorry dude.
