I love that sign.  If my parents were still alive they would be proud of me. I got off to a late start but made up for it at the end. Too bad they never got to see how it all turned out.

I don't think my parents care that I did not go to Harvard or Yale cause I had so many health issues when I was younger, that even graduating high school is a miracle. I'm lucky I'm not dead or mentally retarded. But I used to feel like a loser cause I did not study at Yale or Harvard.

My extended family and my father are proud of me. My mother is jealous and disappointed, as well as fearful and disgusted.

My mother made it very clear she was disgusted by me when I came out as bisexual. And she's made it clear she's jealous because she literally stole from me.

Clearly, she doesn't like me. She's disappointed in my sexuality - she wanted me to be with a man because idc, she just wanted to live vicariously through my relationships.

She doesn't know what I do for work or how I'm doing because I've not contacted her for years.

I don't care what my parents think of me. Their opinion doesn't affect my life or happiness.

they are passed but a lot of my colleagues in the medical field express how proud of me they are. my path wasn't easy, my path was full of so much adversity, so much trauma, so many obstacles- to get where i am in this very moment, it could have went so wrong in so many ways but i kept working hard to get where i am, so yeah i know they are.

Definitely proud of me. I never really gave them any issues really. Not serious ones anyway. I have my college degree and I own my own business and I treat people well.

I think they are proud of me because I accomplished what they didn't and got not only my bachelor's degree but my masters degree.
