I knew this guy back in school. I always held a grudge against him. It's probably petty, but in 6th grade, I was terrible at counting money (still am) and the teacher asked me to count out a certain amount. This guy over heard it, and that I didn't know how to count the money, and he was like "lol dude come on". Also in highschool my friend had a haircut that slightly resembled a mullet, and this guy kept calling him joe dirt. It really bothered my friend. So anyways, other than that he was pretty cool to me. I got a friend request from him on Facebook. I'm leaning torwards eccepting it, but im afraid that will somehow condone his bad behavior. Like he might think "well I guess I can be crappy to people, and they'll still be my friend". What do you think?

I don’t see anything wrong with his behaviour in the past.. I don’t see any bullying or harassment or anything bad in nature based only on what you’ve said. Maybe you left some things out, I’m not sure. But each to their own. I think you should accept it, but don’t accept it if you haven’t let go of the past. I don’t think accepting it will condone “bad behaviour” since there was no bad behaviour to begin with?
He laughed at me for not knowing how to count change, and he kept calling my friend Joe dirt despite my friend not liking it.
Maybe I’m just biased because I’ve been bullied a lot more severely than that throughout my life. I don’t see how what he’s done is harmful.
It can't hurt to give him a chance, but if he starts acting like a jerk, then just block him.
