she works at a groceries store and saves her money she has her own car that she bought and i understand wanting to move out bc our parents aren't great parents but i really what her to just be a kid

I would wait until she’s closer to 18. If she’s only 16 then right now it’s kinda pointless, rent is ever-changing and the cost now may not be what it is in 2 years. I would advise her save up, get a idea of what she can afford on her own (unless you’re going to live with her) and see where you land maybe 4-5 months before she’s 18.

She sounds pretty mature for 16. Working and has her own car and already setting herself up by buying furniture. I would hemp her especially if your bad are as bad as she feels they are. It's not good for your mental health being around such people

By the sound of it i'm afraid that she "matured" herself ahead of her time, and i can pinpoint the culprit too... Your Parents, that sounds like she had Enough, but because she is still a minor she knows she has to "endure" 2 more years. So yeah, you should help her, before she loses the bit of "dream/hope/ has left in her.

I don't know if you meant look for an apartment with her now, or when she is 18. Rents will likely be different in two years, likely higher. Not sure how she would be able to afford it without a roommate though.

I don't know how it works where you are but I can't think of one landlord here that would rent to an 18 year old. Never mind how an 18-year-old could actually afford it

in Texas you're an adult which means you can sign a lease and I'm not sure either how she would afford but she's a hard worker so I'm sure she can figure it out

It's around the age I started living on my own, it's honestly really nice to have freedom at that age; As long as she understands the financial ramifications; It adds up.

In most countries a parent can legally stop a child from moving out before 18, so take that into consideration
